- Advertisements are easily noticed even if they cover a small part of the website. It is because they are placed beside the branding and also, the one that is on the right side adjacent to the up selling has animations – it changes the products it promotes from time to time. Animations give emphasis to the advertisement especially in the case of this website since it is the only part that is moving. Furthermore, only the overviews of some of the featured articles are displayed rather than the whole story. As a result, there is a large space for up selling other articles.

-A suggestion box is considered in the website for some comments for improvement. Although it is the least thing for eyeballs to pay attention to, it gives the user the freedom to express suggestions and comments; thus, finding the website user-friendly.

- The websites has a plain white background which in effect makes users more focused on its contents. Also, there are only three font colors that have been used: black, blue, red. Each color is consistently used to indicate functions: black is for normal texts, red is to read the full story of the articles and more related headlines for a certain topic and blue is for other related links.

*Nectar boutique is an example of ecommerce website. It allows all transactions online including the payment (through credit cards and paypal account). Although it is an ecommerce website, it still provides company information including their exact location, contact information and opening hours which means that they also encourage their customers to go personally to their store.

*This is simple and straight to the point website.

-Simple in a sense that the pictures are not too much, in fact, it only has just a medium-sized picture in the middle which is enough to convey that it is a website for ladies’ apparel. Its light background and font color and adds a feeling of a soft personality which also suggests that the website is for the ladies.

-It is straight to the point because links for shopping and their recommendations (such as apparels on sale, new arrivals and best-sellers) are displayed already in a way that the customers will easily notice.

* They encourage customers to sign up by offering discounts. In this way, companies can keep track of the age range and location of the customers that usually go to their sites to shop.
